    i have never used 1.5 shapton. i know 1k shapton...

    i have never used 1.5 shapton.
    i know 1k shapton will take visible chips less then 5 minutes.
    Kees don't be afraid of using a little pressure while you are on 1k level.

    i wouldn't go below 1k level while i hone straight razors.
