I understand but If you set the bevel with a DMT, setting it again with the coticule seems a bit redundant..I only use my coticule to finish with water after the BBW.

Hey Disburden why would you do the Coticule with slurry after the DMT? the coticule with slurry would set the bevel that was already set with the DMT.. just wondering.. maybe smooth out the scratches...

The dings that I caused made me go back to the DMT-E then a BBW/Coticule combo

I'm a newbe honer but the BBW is pretty slow so that would take a whole lot of time to start on that one.. a Coticule...
