well i tried re honing, finishing with 3 sets of 1/5 on norton 8k to Jap.12k shaved very good. need to see how long edge holds up.

im using the pyramid method, with good results. my quetion is if it works on the norton 4k/8k, would a pyramid of 8k/15k work as well. im waiting for my 15k from Japan Woodworker to come im going to...
