I don't have one of the newer 3/4 hollows, but I did have a vintage one, it was stiffer than a dovo full hollow, and seemed to give a very good shave. I do think the 1/4 grinds give a little stiffer...

I have a 5/8 and a 6/8 dovo full hollow and a le Grelot. They feel nothing alike (or sound for that matter) The Le Grelot is much heavier and stiffer therefore giving it a quite sound while shaving....

my blade is center in the scales, but the blade does have an imperfection along the spine. The razor works fine though.
