Forstners just leave a flat hole instead of a cone shaped hole.. I used a 1" bit... for a 26mm this bit would work well too.:tu

I actually used a forstner drill bit for the knot hole... sorry if I was unclear... I carved the shape of the brush with rasps and sandpaper after drilling the knot hole.

I used some polyeurethane wood glue (I like the stuff), but you could use regular wood glue if you wanted.


The knots are good... I think you'll like them. Many SRP guys get their knots there and...
