I started with 1/4 inch stock, but I thickness sanded them down to 1/8 using a homebuilt drum sanding jig. They are actually just a hair under 1/8th right now

Ok guys here is my first attempt at scales.. they are claro walnut w/ a quilted maple wedge. The finish is semi gloss poly..just waiting for the blade to be pinned (when my washers come in this week....
