Clavichord, you're absolutely right, I shouldn't have used the word rare. I tried to tone it down with the "pretty" as in "pretty rare" but still, it's the wrong word. I meant more to say that...

(Cracked) original scales and the blade appears to be in great shape. These razors are pretty rare. If the scales weren't cracked and the blade was shinier, it probably would have fetched $300+.

The one in the classifieds is a different razor (not for barber's use). These have been going for over $250 lately so it sounds crazy but this one isn't a bad deal :o
