Well I get them in any condition, Gugi.
Since I don't use them I neither dull them not do I need tolerance at all.

I just see that I can't fix much with such a fine hone.

Its true that the Naniwa 12 k is a good finisher but its not a touch up hone.
amd by no means a bevel setter.

Its a finisher.
You'd need at least a 3 k and a 6 k (or 5 k and 8 k since I don't know if there is a 6 k available actually)
