Thanks. I'd bet I'm still putting to much preasure on the blade. I've been stropping knife blades for years and I keep forgetting this is a much more delicate edge.

Is it possible to strop to much? I have notice that 10-15 laps on the leather and my razor is fine but much more than that and it dulls. Seeing as I have only been using a straight for about six...
