    Contacted the seller today, the lot was used by his grand dad; so I am going to assume American. Either celluloid or that hard rubber compound. They won't take a shining.

    What are these scales made out of?

    I was sure they were plastic/celluloid when I bought this razor to restore. However, after cleaning it up, it stinks like horn. On an aside...I really hate the smell of horn in the morning.... : \ ...
