I have tried that, and it does mark the glass so the diamonds are still there, it just doesn't seem to cut as fast as I expect a 325 grit to cut, so I only use it for lapping my 1k and Norton 4k/8k...

I don't think I did my D8C any favours when I lapped my c12k, under 25x magnification the tops of the diamonds look like they have been flattened and it seems to cut slower than my Naniwa 1k with...
