How is it possible to hone a razor like that with a flat hone and almost no pressure? Wouldn't one have to push the middle of the edge of the blade into the hone to get wear like that?

Yes, there is a lot of hone wear, as I said this was years ago when I was learning to hone, but you can't escape the fact that the hone was flat.

I have two Dovos, both are warped. I won't be buying anymore of them.
