Before you get scared do not worry this one did not produce high quality ones...

Lapping CF is not hat bad. there are worse hones to lap such as Rozsutec. An hour or two and it should be done well.

Do you have any details of the stone you show? You have to be careful as there are very simmilar hones to the eye (D. Blue, TOS, Llyn Idwall).

By any chance there are no tiny orange ish dots on it?
