Looks like we've been discussing for a couple of days the creation of a mirror finish on a razor-shaped object using a generic Chinese brick sold as an 8K hone. :banghead:

I am afraid I cannot comment on that as I my only finishers are naturals unless you would call barber hones finishers but I don't use those as finishers.

What's the point of having a mirror finish? Even with a mirror finish you can have mirochips or a wire-edge.
