Joe, any suggestions what to lap this stone with? I am now referring to the stone on the paddle. It has some hard inclusions that start to stick out a bit. Sooner or later I fear they will cause...

That's correct. The German guy I was corresponding with got 2 pre-WW2 ones from an old man. The newer ones look a bit coarser but the slurry looks identical under an electon microscope, he mailed me...
