it closes great actually. before i did the final cutting and peening of the pivot pin i kind of pinched the scales with my fingers and moved the blade to see about how tight the scales should be. ...

So In an attempt to tighten a sloppy pivot pin, I broke the scales on my w&b. I picked up a set of TI replacement scales from cs and gave it a shot. here are the results.
