Vintage swedish frameback arrived yesterday. I expected a dog. When I got it I liked it so much I was inspired to clean it and hone it, so that I can shave right away. And I did!

Thanks for the tip - I will do this. I have patience and all - my only fear was over-honing. But I may still look around for a nice hone as I have been told the edges feel better with them...

I wonder what is this TI like compared to, say, 7/8 Helje, 8/8 W&B, etc.
