Ah - thanks. Looks like art really does imitate life - I'm developing a noticable "Hamburg grind" as I get older. :D

I've never seen a Hamburg grind, so I may (no, will) show my ignorance by asking - if the bevel is not touching because of lost width, why can't you artificially "widen" the shoulder to get it sharp?...
