Actually, I had to relather the back of my head for the first time in 4 years during today's shave. I thought it was a bit curious because nothing was really different time-wise, but the lather felt...

OK, just to update. First shave with this new razor and I used the "wipe on a towel" technique. An excellent shave, by the way! :tu

Moisture avoidance seemed to go pretty well but when I moved on...

Thank you to everyone who has replied so far. It appears there is a lot of hybrid blade cleaning going on during shaving, and there are a lot of excellent ideas for me to think about - the sponge...
