The more I think about it the more I'm convinced that'd be the right choice.

It goes a tad above it, then again you'd be much better at judging it than me. I'll take a close up picture of the chip and try to post it later tonight.

I might take a run at it if the first restore goes ok. This one is the worse of them with the chip. The other blade had a run of rust part of the edge and some pitting but it doesn't look or feel...

The first one was a Giesen & Frosthof. Might try and restore it using the wiki.
