Well..the reason why i did it on the glass side was that for years i final honed on a bottle..my grandfather taught me to use a straight on a hone and for final honing use a glass smooth bottle.."so,...

yea....I really am....not kidding...I really brain farted and tried to sharpen it on the glass side....I don't know, it made sense at the time..

Oh Dammit!! No wonder I couldn't get any results.. I used the glass side....I am a dumb ass..
