I see what you mean, but he didn't just touch the edge. He ran it back and forth quite roughly and then plucked at the edge towards himself.

I guess, knive edges are a bit bigger I think. I guess intelligent thought goes out the window and memory comes into play. As in, it's just another typical blade.
