Tried today the 1.0 micron paste and the 0.5 (each in a diferent micropore strop) on a hoffritz. Did 20 laps on each and had the best shave I've ever had with that razor.

The diamond pastes arrived yesterday. I've put the 0.5 micron on another "Glass backed micropore Strop" and gave it a go on a "The 1066" straight razor that had (so far) being my worst shaver.

Well, first of all, glass was easily avaiable to me, and it´s already perfectly flat and won´t loose it´s flat state.

People say balsa is good because it has pores where the sharpening agent...
