    I water sand all woods that do not warp when wet. I have never had problem with oily finishes just wait for the wood to dry for a few hours to a day and the continue with my regular finishing routine.

    I like the tiger maple the best,great figuring....

    I like the tiger maple the best,great figuring. However it is not my favorite to work with it can't be wet sanded because it warps as soon as it starts to dry.

    Morley in Tiger maple, Bocker in Horn

    A few custom restored razors for one of our members.

    Morley in Tiger Maple, finished with wipe on poly and brass pins/washers
    Bocker in horn , it has deep pitting close to the spine on one side...
