You are correct ..a Yew Longbow ..made by Gerald Welch Longbows in AK. I believe the arrows came from a company in Colorado....I think .

When I had the bow built back in 2000 I could have gone with the "War Bow " which has no shelf...just shoot it off your hand....I wasn't ready for that....LOL

What the heck are these " Pins " you guys are talking about ??? My Bow doesn't have any "Pins " .....all it has ,is a shelf and a string .....would Pins look bad on my bow ???...

Didn't say it was a barebow...A self bow is a bow that is made from a single piece of wood. and yes a Barebow/Warbow the arrow is shot off your hand. :)
