Sorry, m390 is what it is. Wasnt too tough using my diamond stones. Supposed to be better at wear resistance than Elmax. It got its final sharpening today, so I will see. I truly admire the quality...

Spring steel. Same stuff as car springs, tough, real tough. Will rust rather easily. One of the top 5 carbon steels used, possibly #1 when it comes to camp/hard use knives.

On the Kershaw that I showed, you push the red button to deploy. The same button is the blade lock. I just push the button to release the lock and use my thigh to close it to the lock position...

BTW, this Kershaw is made in the USA...unlike some of their products that have been farmed out for cheap labor.

It's a state by state thing, each state has it's own rules...which I don't necessarily agree with since we are the same country.

My company changed it's knife policy to a maximum of 3" blade...most of my blades are 3.5-4"...so I had to look around for a new knife until I make one. Settled on the Al Mar Nomad, I am a sucker...
