I think psychology has a part to play in this. If cold water is the only thing available, it's the middle of winter, you don't have a heater or fire going, you didn't get much sleep the night before,...

Fortunately, we're about 6 months...

Russ, I completely agree. That's one of the main reasons for me. Plus the cold feeling is addictive.

I still think TOBS gets the best results in cold water. Is anyone else able to confirm that?

Yes, that link really did the trick. I know that beBerlin said he used cold water a few months ago and I've been recommending it since I switched in September but I don't think anyone paid much...

Now that everyone's using cold water I'll have to go back to warm. :)

Jimmy, I agree about rubbing the lather in by hand. I'll also say that TOBS cream (and cream in general) work better for me...
