I have heard something about prizing by layer, but havnt seen any sign of that yet...

How big part of the stones you have do you normally use?
An inch or two for slurry should do

I started on a 125x30 when i went to Coticule and that works pretty good
100x30 is a minimum and a 20x75 i have is pretty hard to use on any kind of dilution steps

If you are lucky with bouts...

If the BBW is attatced to a Coticule there is better odds that its a good finisher (If i read the info on another site correctly)
If going for a Coticule 125x30 is good 175x75 is great, and standard...

Size really depend on what you are used to
Me i would probably go for something like 150x30mm
