I am happy with this one. I think this blade is a 4/8 or 9/16 and quite stiff, not to hollow.
Allthough I have not been able to get it really sharp yet, (just popping the odd hair), it shaves well.... -

It is Curly Birch from Sweden. It's ordinary birch with a genetic defect. It is said to occur only around the Baltic Sea.
This is supposed to be a low grade. The high grades can have amazing swirls... -
