I have the impression that thick coticule slurry is extremely abrasive, and takes away metal faster than you can say ´dude where´s my edge´

I don't think so. I have shaved right off the 8K...

how do you use the coticule
Each time I use the coticule after the 8K, the HHT fails afterwards.
Just to get some reference:
- do use raise a slurry? a lot?
- how many laps do you do?
