I am glad I ordered 4 myself. 2 of them have small nicks though. They will need some tough love on the 1K/4K Norton.

As far as I understood, the right side is the smooth side.
The non-stropping side of a strop is usually coarser.

The difference should be pretty obvious to spot by just feeling the leather on...
