I got my DMT8X from amazon (through a partner site, some fishing supply place) for $43 shipped. If I recall correctly amazon had the DMT8XX at the time for $55ish shipped, it was a sale price too...

I'm pretty sure the D8XX is actually ~$20 MORE than it was a month ago when I bought my D8X. I got the d8X for ~$45 because it was like $10 cheaper than the XX if I remember right.
