Yeah, that's what I was worried would be the answer. I guess it's going away until I feel like buying some new stones. Maybe I'll snag a 1" wide coti cheaply some day and fix it up.

Significantly warped wedge... belt sander?
Ok, I've got a wedge. It's warped. Not noticeable visibly but on a flat surface the concave side bridges about 1-2mm up in the center when faced down.
Would it be reasonable to attempt to grind...
