not glass
Well, after further investigation(scraping it with a knife) it would appear that this is either the softest glass in recorded history or not glass at all.
I can gouge the "glass" with a butter... -

Well holy crap.
I hadn't even considered using the front but now that I look at it there is an X pattern on the clear side !!
So it IS a two sided hone?? :shrug:

What do you mean by " the hard seam "
and that stuff about two sided?
it is a one sided, single composition hone.
One side is a hone and the other is lucite. -

its sooooooo soft
I just tried to figure a way to define its level of hardness and here is what I came up with.
It's SOOOOOO soft that you can make just the SLIGHTEST mark in it with a thumbnail.
