I went back through this thread, and did not see anyone use the "all or nothing" argument that you refer to.

All people are saying is that even if you design a test to compare how well different...

But... Maybe if we had a standardized blade that we could standardize a test hair to...
Then we could take the standard blade, cut a standard hair at the correct amount of pressure, and use that...
