finally got the black powder revolver out to the range to shoot. Man that was a tonne of fun. My ability to hit a target out at 25m was pretty shocking. But that's a practice issue.

At the end of next month I can finally get my daughter out on the clays, another couple of years till I can take her to the range, but she's super keen to get out shooting with me.

Had a good day at the range today.

I loaded 20 rounds with 44gn and 20 with 45gn of RL15.

Learned some things, my rifle doesn't chamber rounds at the top end of the OAL, and I can group 145gr...

I was shooting 145gr factory loads that were doing ok, hence why I went for 145gr bullets, I have 99 to use up then I was going to move up to 155gr as I have been using those lately and was happier....

Made my first ever hand loaded rounds today for the .308.

145gn BTFMJ PPU in lapua cases with RL15. I could not find any load data for that bullet so took the powder manufacturers 150gn HPBT and...

I like to think of myself as budget shooting guy, that started with buying guns that might need a bit of work. I got looking at magazines for my tikka, and decided I'd see how printing one would go....

This weeks been a hell of a week, so I went to the range today with some of my .22s and proceeded to just chuck some lead downrange to let of some steam. It's surprisingly therapeutic :gwh:

I've shot a few anschutz sporter model bolts, they are fairly plain, but definitely reliable and accurate.

A good day was had today.

The day was mostly about shooting 12g slug, but my 1022 and 1911 got a good bit of time out. Also got to try out the BRNO.

The two scopes on the rifles are there or...

Off to the range tomorrow. So giving the gins I'm taking a check over. Seems like an age since I've had the 1022 out, that BRNO has never been fired by me.

Well that was fun... I unscrewed that top turret, and under that there was an moa coin slot click turret. I reckon I can work with this now lol.
