There is color banding on this particular Fox /Goldfisch hone but no defined layering is present.

You could be right about that Piet, sometimes I forget now….:gaah: I believe the term was first coined by Oldengarde. They are however, different than the Special Stones and La Lunes.

I agree with hatzicho, after seeing the Guillaume photos I do not think it is La Lune or Special stone. PrinceVlads stone looks similar to a variety of what has been referred to as Vosgienne type...
