Why do most barbers I see always recommend using...
Why do most barbers I see always recommend using about a dime or nickel size amount of oil? I thought that all you need was a couple drops?

Just to make sure I understand, are you saying that it takes time for oil to soften hair for cutting, not just a single shave or two?
