I don't know about gorilla glue. But epoxy is thick enough to hold the knot in place while it is setting up (like syrup, and it gets thicker fast).

Any 2-part epoxy should work just fine. A very small tube will be enough for quite a few brushes. I'd let it set up for a day or at least over night.
