Can anyone recommend a supplier for horn and bone to make scales? being in New Zealand the closer to me the better, but im willing to have some sent from the states if the price isn't too extreme.

Yea It was a hard decision - though it gives me a good reason to find a NON-cracked wade & butcher minter now!

I couldnt resist any longer so I went to town on it with the dremel. Once the radius was cut the shoulder remnants looked terrible imo, so I made a bold decision and decided to sacrifice the maker...

Thanks for all the input and advice. I'm 95% convinced about a regrind now, theres no museum in this blades future so I might as well remove the offending crack with some customization. Prob. going...
