Thanks again chaps. The sharp bit is 2.5" long. These big 1\4 hollow razors will always be blade heavy but I find the balance of this design very fine indeed, but then I have made quite a few of them...

Yes Dave, they are a tad longer than the traditional pattern. Just trying to do things a little differently I guess :)

I've just put the finishing touches on these two.They both have 7/8 blades with a 1/4 hollow grind. The scales are cocobolo with buffalo horn spacers and nickel pins.
