If you didn't notice it in the first shave I wouldn't worry. That means the solderer knew what they were doing.

Silver solder is extremely strong when done properly. Unfortunately the only to way to know if a mistake was made is to wait for failure. I'm more amazed that the fix was successful with out messing...

It looks like it is silver soldered. Either way it looks really unique and for that reason I'm sure it has a permanent place in your collection.
