Mine was tied back as well, but the wire was still able to rub the side. I don't think that it affected every one, but worth checking in my opinion.

If you get one immediately open the bottom and zip-tie back the wires (leave slack for the vibrations). I got one and it rubbed the wire right through (I'm not the only one).
