You really shouldn't have to..yes, it's an extreme curve on a long tail, but there are always possibilities with design to make it work :)

The main thing you're going for is to have the tail and scales fall comfortably in your hand or else be out of the way so as not to interfere with the flip of the razor....Kenny Powell accomplishes...
