Yes, the scales were done by me using an acrylic pen blank. This was my first and I've done a few since and have been using contrasting wedges ever since :)

I have a nice amboyna burl blank from them at...
I have a nice amboyna burl blank from them at home too :) Their wood blanks are actually about an inch longer than the acryllics so you'd have more than enough :tu

lol...yes RobertH that is exactly what they are...they are JUST big enough depending on the razor and how much "end" you want past the blade. I just wish they had more color selection...I do have one...

Russian Restore
Here are a few pics of my very first restore :) A Russain Razor from about the 1920's..not sure exactly what make though..my russian friend couldn't make out the writing on the box. Anyhow, polished...
