Thanks for all the suggestions. I wound up deleting haali and media encoder. I didn't think it was originated by SRP because the ads that preexisted weren't intrusive but I had to ask.

Here's what happens:
1. You click the red arrow to the right of the ads in Internet Explorer and bigger ads appear to the right:

2. In the upper right-hand corner of the bigger ad it says,...

I get those ads on firefox. I'm going to try to see if I can get rid of them. I just installed firefox and imported my bookmarks from Internet Explorer so it might be embedded from there.

You're lucky. I just re-entered the site from another tab and got it. I'm using Windows Explorer.

I didn't get the ad using Safari.

I got it using Google Chrome. It said "waiting for...
