im lapping as we speak but its going slow. as...

as for the chips they were noticeable as i ran my hand over it so a blade for sure would suffer from it. -

But as you can see in the second pic it looks like the stone is chipping for some reason... -

Howdy all,
I had a quick question hope you all could answer.
I'm in the hardware store right now about to buy sandpaper so I can lap my coti.
But I can't remember what grit was recommended...
