I have done it with 5 minute epoxy, but 20 minute would have been better. It is tricky indeed, I can understand why everyone is buying it pre-glued :)

I used a ferric cloride solution, I am still experimenting with it though. About 15 minutes in the etch gave an almost black and thick surface layer.

Shave-tested it today, the shave was about as awesome as it looks! :) Couldn't stop myself smiling in the mirror.

We will know tomorrow, I don't have enough stubble yet :)
