That and maybe the angle that the blade is held? I'm just glad I found a razor that will shave close to my ST8s and the "PURIST" I love saving with.

Sorry, the Satin Futur is the one I used to compare this razor with the same "Feather" blades. I have used all the settings and can't get a similar shave and I get many weeping cuts.

I have 2 Merkur's a cheap starter than the new satin ADJ. Same blades "Feather" but the Feather razor with the Feather blades just...

I got a Feather DE after trying 4 other DEs and it's the last razor I'll ever buy :)
