Try a very thick slurry on your Coticule. and slowly add drops of water (Diucot) as you progress. That bevel isn't half bad, there is little hone wear so the geometry is good and it may come back...

I have its brother. A nice shaving blade and i do like the shape on my face. It is as nice a shaver as most any razor i own. May not be a one pass rocket but with a good honing it give a very mellow...
